What you are buying
Volume at a low price per record. Nothing more is claimed for it.
| Price per lead | $0.35 per lead |
|---|---|
| Buyers per lead | Not exclusive. Assume other brokers have called the merchant before you. |
| TrustedForm certificate | Not included |
| Verification and criteria | None claimed. The 6-digit code and the qualification criteria on the exclusive page describe exclusive leads, not aged records. |
The price of one exclusive lead buys about 170 aged records. Whether that is a bargain depends almost entirely on what an hour of your reps' time costs, because on aged data the record is nearly free and the dialling is not.
When aged leads work
Cheap enough to be worth the dials, on a floor that has spare dials.
- Volume dialling with idle capacity. Reps between realtime leads, on a dialer, where one more dial costs close to nothing. That is the case aged data is priced for.
- Outbound campaigns, run under your own compliance process. Reaching many records cheaply finds the few merchants who are in the market again, without a rep's hour behind each one.
- Re-marketing and renewal timing. A merchant who was looking for capital months ago may be approaching a renewal or a second position now. Lead with that rather than with the original enquiry.
And when they do not:
- A floor already at dialling capacity, where aged records take dials away from fresher leads.
- A small team closing on realtime inbound, which gets more from fixing speed and follow-up.
- Any floor without a process for suppression and opt-outs.
The longer version, including what decays between the first enquiry and your dial, is in when aged leads are actually worth buying.
What to expect
Lower contact rates, and a merchant who has heard the pitch before.
Contact rates on aged data run far below a realtime lead. Numbers get reassigned, businesses close, and the merchants who do pick up have usually heard from other brokers already. Plan the order around attempts per contact rather than around the price of the record, and measure it on your own floor before you scale it.
You are responsible for your own outreach compliance on every record you call or text, including the TCPA and do-not-call rules.
Questions
What are aged MCA leads?
Aged MCA leads are older merchant cash advance records sold for high-volume outbound. Ours are $0.35 per lead. They are not exclusive and they do not come with a TrustedForm certificate.
Are aged MCA leads worth buying?
They can be, on a floor with idle rep capacity and a dialer, where the cost of one more dial is close to nothing. At $0.35 a record, a low contact rate can still pay. On a floor already at capacity they take dials away from better leads, and then they are not worth it at any price.
Do aged MCA leads come with a TrustedForm certificate?
No. TrustedForm certificates come with exclusive and shared leads only. Aged leads are sold without one, and without the verification and qualification criteria published for exclusive leads.
Are aged MCA leads exclusive?
No. Aged records are not exclusive. Assume other brokers have called the merchant before you.
