Genuinely useful for a merchant whose daily obligations have become unmanageable, and frequently the more responsible option than another stack. The cost is usually higher than any individual position it replaces, because the funder is taking on the whole exposure.

Position
An individual outstanding advance against a merchant, counted in order — first position, second position, and so on.
