Mini-TCPA
A state-level analogue to the federal TCPA, frequently with its own definitions, restrictions and private right of action.
Several states operate them and some carry no business-to-business exemption at all. Florida’s restricts automated dialling without prior express written consent and caps calls to a given number at three in a 24-hour period, regardless of which number you dial from.
Why it matters to a broker
Dialling nationally means you are subject to the strictest rule applying to any merchant you call. Ask whether a vendor can filter your leads by state.
