UCC leads
Contact lists compiled from UCC filings, identifying businesses that have previously taken secured funding.
Contact details are appended by third-party data rather than supplied by the merchant, because a filing carries a business address, not a mobile number. Everyone can buy the same filings, so the list is being worked by competitors simultaneously.
Why it matters to a broker
A UCC record is evidence a business borrowed once. It is not an expression of interest and not consent, which makes the compliance position for cold-dialling it materially different from calling someone who completed a form.
