Lead records sold to a single buyer, ideally with no expiry on that exclusivity.
The word is used loosely. "Exclusive at time of sale" can mean the record returns to an aged-data pool after 30 or 365 days, which is exclusivity with an expiry date most buyers never ask about.
Shared leads
Lead records sold simultaneously to multiple buyers, typically three to five.
Aged leads
Previously generated lead records resold weeks, months or years after the merchant originally applied.
Round robin
A distribution method in which each incoming lead is assigned to one client in rotation.
One-time code verification
Confirming a phone number by texting a code mid-application that the applicant must enter to submit.
UCC leads
Contact lists compiled from UCC filings, identifying businesses that have previously taken secured funding.
Live transfer
A pre-qualified merchant connected directly to a broker by phone rather than delivered as a record.
